| April 1958 | Department of Clothing established in Shitennoji Gakuen Women’s Junior College (discontinued in March 1986). |
| April 1962 | Department of Food established in Shitennoji Gakuen Women’s Junior College (department’s name changed to Department of Food Nutrition in January 1967, but department discontinued in December 1986). |

| April 2019 | The Faculty of Nursing, Department of Nursing was created. The Faculty of Education, Department of Education, Elementary School and Early Childhood Course, Junior High School English and Elementary School Course, and Health Education Course were restructured into four courses. These are the Elementary School Education Course, Early Childhood Education Course, Junior or Senior High School English Education Course, and Health Education Course. |
